Sample Biobank
Within the Milieu Intérieur clinical study, whole blood was collected for immunologic phenotyping, functional immune stimulation and preparation of DNA for genomic analysis. Fecal samples and nasal swabs were obtained for metagenomic studies.
For more information read the the Clinical Protocol for Visit 1 and 2
Whole blood
Blood samples were collected at visit 1 and visit 2 for the standard analysis for determining
inclusion / exclusion criteria; the phenotypic assessment of the donors (baseline) and the evaluation of the trial objectives.
Fecal sample
The stool samples were collected at visit 1 and visit 2 for characterizing the metagenomic architecture of the population based on sequence analysis of bacterial, fungal and viral populations.
Nasal swab
The nasal swabs were be collected at visit 1 and visit 2 for characterizing the the metagenomic architecture of the population based on sequence analysis of bacterial, fungal and viral populations.
Skin biopsy
Skin punch biopsies were performed at V1 under local anesthesia. The biopsy was taken using a sterile single use biopsy punch (7mm * 3mm round dermal punch). Fibroblasts and IPSc cells were collected.
